less than 75 by .. mg1330 (New Jersey) Before I decide to purshase this product I knew what was about it. The book is not for me. But I know it is very helpfull for my son. When we were searching it was a very nice experience 'cause we saw many amazing products we wanted to get. Even do was my first time buying on line I am so satisfied with Amazon. As third parties as well. I come here often since then. Thanks Amazon.
Great Buy by .. M. Quigley (New York) It is so worth what I paid, and then some. It explains in great detail and the wording is easy to understand. I just wish the book would focus more on problem areas and not just the whole SAT test. I still think the book will help me tremendously on the exam.
Bought this for the mystery tutor site, glad I did. by .. Maria Cevallos (USA) I bought this book for my kid because it was recommended on mysterytutor.com, and I have to say I'm glad I did. The questions are different from what he was working on before, which was one of the Barron's books, just like the guy on the mystery tutor site said they would be. It just makes sense to use real questions to get ready for the test, especially when it's an important one.
Some other reviewers have written about how the book doesn't provide solutions, and I agree that that's a problem, but if you go to the mystery tutor's forums you can get all of those solutions for free, so that way you can still use this book of real questions and not have to go with some other company's fake questions, but still have explanations.
The book is full of real practice questions just like it says it is, and it's the only book of practice questions you should be using! Get it and don't think twice.
The Official SAT Guide by .. snowflakes (Kitsap County) This book NEVER arrived. It was cancelled the same day, reorder from another vendor and also cancelled. Finally, my daughter's boyfriend found her one, almost too late and they studied together. The Guide was helpful but would have been better if delivered and on time.

Customer reviews In the middle by .. Andonios Valsamakis (San Antonio, Texas) On one hand, I have to agree with the person giving this one star that it could be gotten from the CLEP website, but if you did want to order a book to review, this is a good one. For what it sets out to do, it does well. I am not sure that I can fault the product because the information contained can be gotten from another source for free. As a whole, it is detailed as well as comprehensive. It achieves the goals it hopes to accomplish. All the reader has to do is expend the effort and get prepared.
Save your money. by .. A. McCracken-Barber (Farmington, NH. USA) The book that the clep website recomends is also available on their web site to down load a .pdf file for free. It dosn't give any more information than the web site offers and down loading is even debatable. Had I realized this prior to buying the book from amazon, (no offense Amazon, We love you guys), I would have saved 25 bucks + shipping.
Clep Official Study Guide worth the money by .. Laura A. Layton () This guide helped my daughter study for and take her clep tests. And she passed!! It sure beats the cost of tuition and the length of time for credit.

Medical-Surgical Nursing by .. L. Dietz () "the service was extremely fast; i would buy from amazon anytime i need another book!"
Great reference book by .. Jay (Indiana) This a great reference book that I used througout nursing school. This was a great book for writing care plans or the random papers that we had to write. This is another one of the few books that I kept from college.
It's ok by .. Amanda () Some of the questions in here are outrageous compared to what I read in the textbook. Stuff that was stated in only a sentence or two in the textbook would have really in depth questions in this study guide. I only use the multiple choice questions. The rest is kind of useless for me because we don't have anything other than multiple choice on our tests in class. A lot of times I don't even bother using this.
Kind of hard to understand by .. Amanda () I have a hard time understanding stuff when I read this textbook for class. It's not very straight forward or clear and you have no idea what's going on. It also seems like there's a lot of extra information that doesn't need to be there. The only thing I like is that it comes in 2 separate books so it's easier to carry around and flip through without breaking the spine of the book.

Product Description Written specifically for today's busy woman. Get simple, user-friendly advice to help you get the most from yourr personal Bible study time. Customer reviews Great Buy! by .. R. Sexton (Dallas, TX) I have just skimmed over this book, but it looks to be just what i was looking for--bible study with a different approach. This reference is funny and modern. It would be great for the novice or pro!
Great book! by .. Rachel (Stillwater, OK) This book is great to read just to lift spirits and help see that you are not alone for your quest for spiritual growth. If you want a deeper study there is a bible reading list and bible study guide in the back of the book along with a leader's guide for small groups. In other words this book can be as light or as deep as you want it to be. Jen is a hilarious writer with tremendous talent and I highly recommend her book, I have been in one study on this book and led two others.
Excellent How To by .. Jill Nesbitt (Tipp City, OH USA) Devoured this book in just a couple days. It was exactly as I was hoping for - providing practical methods/systems for bible study. Loved the humor & honesty & style of writing. Feel this is a great reference for when I actually get started. I would recommend this book to everyone! Hope to meet Jen Hatmaker someday in fact just to compliment her on such a fabulous book!
Not as modern as I would have liked by .. Summer () I like the effort, but the author was still a bit preachy. I'll do my own Bible reading without her help, thank you very much.
Don't know where to start with regular devotions? Start here! by .. Happy Mom (Washington) This book really provides a simple and non-overwhelming way to approach studying the Bible. It provides you with different techniques on how to get a lot out of reading scripture. The author recognizes that not everyone absorbs information the same way, but encourages everyone to try all the different techniques. The reading is light and not heavy, and it compells you to pick up your Bible and read with a "can do" attitude. I appreciated this book a lot, in fact it is what caused me to start journaling again (a suggestion from the book) which is a great accountablity in and of itself. How obvious is it that you haven't done devotions than to go back to your journal and see the last entry was several weeks prior!? It creates an accountability in and of itself.

Product Description Study Guide to DSM-IV-TR® demonstrates the fundamental features of DSM-IV-TR disorders through brief clinical vignettes, and questions and answers. These vignettes help beginning students and experienced clinicians visualize a disorder in the context of a multidimensional patient who is characterized by more than just the fulfillment of individual diagnostic criteria. Study Guide to DSM-IV-TR® - Describes common problems in diagnosis
- Provides guidelines for resolving issues of diagnostic uncertainty
- Summarizes the core concepts of the diagnostic group discussed in each chapter
- Presents interesting case examples that provide "diagnostic prototypes" of the individual disorders included in DSM-IV-TR
- Includes self-assessment questions that allow the reader to test their understanding of DSM-IV-TR
Several new sections have been added - Boundary Between Normality and Abnormality
- Dimensional vs. Categorical Classification
Study Guide to DSM-IV-TR® is an indispensable companion designed to help students, residents, and clinicians conceptualize how DSM-IV-TR can be used in everyday practice. Customer reviews This Guide Will Help You Tame "The Beast" by .. Rocco B. Rubino (Ohio) Whether you are a graduate student, intern, novice clinician,or a veteran, you know from experience that the DSM-IV-TR is a beast of a book in terms of navigation.
Dr. Fauman has provided a cogent guide to help you tame this beast. What I find most helpful are the clinical vignettes and the way he attempts to tease out over-lapping, and/or mutually exclusive diagnoses. I am using this book (by recommendation) to review for my state's counselor license exam as I was told that this resource would provide more than adequate assistance for this purpose.
The only downside to this text is the price. APA books are just plain bloody expensive, but like anything else, you get what you pay for. The information contained in this book while a tad overpriced, will be worth it in the long-run, I feel.
Invaluable resource in learning the DSM-IV-TR by .. counselor4kids (Virginia Beach, VA USA) I bought this book as a study aid to assist me in preparing for my counseling licensure exam. I own the DSM-IV-TR but found that it was difficult for me to learn with it because it was so technical. The study guide breaks the diagnoses down into simpler descriptions, gives case examples of clients with the various disorders, and provides study questions to help you evaluate your progress in learning. It goes over important definitions, key diagnostic points and how to make a differential diagnosis. Since using this to study, my confidence in making a diagnosis has increased greatly. I highly recommend this book to any clinician or graduate student.

The content reflects what's in the 3rd edition of the text book. Customer reviews Maternal Child Nursing Care by .. C. Carshult () This book is the pits. There are no end of chapter questions for review, there is no glossary and way too much fluff. The book is twice as big as it needs to be and a lot of redundant information. Unfortunately this book was a required text for class.
Study Guide is VERY helpful!!!! by .. C. McGinnis () I have found the Study Guide to be very helpful........ one of the best I have ever used. I highly recommend it.
Must have! by .. M. Gardner (MN, USA) If you have the Textbook you need to have this Study Guide too! It has lots of exercises and really helps. I recommend it!
OK book, but excessive information by .. Erin M. Hooper (Louisville, KY) This study guide was on our 'recommended' book list for our OB/Peds semester of nursing school to accompany the required textbook, so I bought it. Although it's very thorough, the overwhelming amount of information has made it minimally helpful in my studying. My class doesn't follow the book, and instead the instructors assign us pages to read based on the subject of the lecture... so for any given lecture, we may be reading parts of several chapters. Many of the exercises are fill in the blank sentences of key terms, matching definitions and open answer explanations. The one helpful feature I've found is the five or so N-CLEX style question at the end of each chapter.
Before buying this book, I would suggest reviewing your syllabus and seeing if your class goes into detail in each chapter, or if they skip around like mine. Still, it's relatively inexpensive and might be helpful to some.
