Product Description Macroecomics Textbook version. Softcover paperback version. 600 pages. Published by Worth Publishers. Authored by Paul Krugman and Robin Wells. College and University Textbook. Microeconomics is the study of the economic behavior of people as individuals and in organizations such as corporations. Macroeconomics is the study of economic behavior of human beings as nations and the economic interactions between nations. It involves aspects of the economy such as money, savings, growth, stocks and flows, inflation, unemployment, taxation, national budgets and so forth. The study does not prefer one type of government policy over another, but studies the tradeoffs of the effects of different economic choices. Those of us who prefer specific outcomes will prefer certain choices over others, but that is not a part of the broader topic. IPC 2006 by .. Jason L. Fordyce (Missouri) I never did recieve the item. I want a full refund and additional credits if you ever want me to buy from you again. I had to buy the book at Barnes and Noble for Retail price after I waited 2 weeks on the 2006 IPC. I took the Master Plumbing test July 12th and because of this I had minimal study time. Thanks Amazon!!
Code review? by .. William Rickrim (San Antonio, Tx) Hey people, aren't computers smart? Amazon wants me to review a code book. What the f@#$. It's needed in my job. That's why I bought it.
What a joke... by .. G.Logo () Interesting the similarities between the last Virginia Plumbing Code and the first International Plumbing code, eh? It's not coincidence.
It appears that the "International Code Council"... located in Virginia, no less... had a stroke of brilliance. They produced a gem of a name for their book- the "International" Plumbing Code. What? They using these codes in Mexico? Ecuador? France?
A good name sells anything. This book is a ridiculous reduction of plumbing codes, stuffed into a few pages. It's obvious very few contemporary issues are addressed. Unfortunately, bureaucrats aren't plumbers... which is why several states have adopted it as their new gospel on plumbing, and the International Code Council's dreams are becoming reailty. I've had multiple discussions with individuals "just so excited that someone finally took up the task to umbrella "all" the plumbing codes into one national code... so we can all be on the same page now... like the National Electrical Code!"
Absolutely hysterical
It is what it is. by .. Caslo Cranston (New Orleans, LA USA)
This "international plumbing code," is a poor substitute for your state or local municipality's plumbing code.
Most states have created their own version of plumbing code with many, major municipalities adding restrictions at local levels.
In a perfect world, "the" plumbing code would rigorously define a system of best practices - this "International," and most state's plumbing codes reflect insurance company interests in establishing a safe and reasonably, low level of liability.
The "code" is written by attorney's in cooperation with plumbers, builders, supplier's of materials and various, other, self interest groups.
It is vague, possesses no visual representations, poorly indexed, unreferenced and in many cases a hinderance to the adoption of new materials and design.
It makes more sense to purchase a copy of your state or local municipality's plumbing code. In most cases, the local codes are available to everyone and are inexpensive. Periodic updates are usually available for a modest fee. The sad part is that most local codes also explain very little and are poor substitutes for books oriented towards plumbing system, design or repairs.
Over the years I have witnessed countless, unworkable "do it yourself" implementations. In fact - many professionally plumbed, jobs also prove to be less than perfect. If you are planning a slab addition - do yourself a favor - and spend a few bucks on a mechanical engineer who will be more than happy to school you on the do's and don'ts. I admit that it looks simple - but don't be fooled. Plumbing is a hell of a lot more difficult than it may seem.
Because there is no popular movement to make the code "more accessible -" we are stuck with it.
It is what it is!

Customer reviews It's the Gold Standard by .. Wilkinson (Colorado, USA) This book is a required reference for anyone dealing with fire code issues for any reason. There have been many revisions of previous codes, so buying a personal copy is recommended even though it is expensive. Best if used in conjunction with the latest edition of the International Building Code.
Less than useless. by .. L. Stewart (New York, NY USA) Not much use if specific info is required. References a lot of other specs but provides little or no information that can actually be applied to design a fire fighting system. I would not buy it again or recommend purchase.

Everything you need to build a garage (or house)! by .. Forrest Frantz (Parkdale, OR) If you are acting as a contractor on your home or garage project, then this book is invaluable to make sure that the subs are building to code or making sure that you are building to code. As an retired contractor and engineer, I've come to realize over time that codes actually do have a purpose in life besides making the building process a pain. The old farm house I bought probably wasn't built to code and it shows. A lot of farmers around here have to get up on their out-building and shovel snow because every year one or two more of their buildings collapse.
The book is well organize by project phase so things are easy to find--cement pad, walls, floors, roof, etc.
Can a residential Architect live without this book? by .. M. Morris (Arlington, VA) This Christmas we gave this book to our son, at his suggestion. He is a residential Architect working in Kansas City. I asked him what he thought about the book, after having time to review it. His response was, "Tell them its irritatingly indispensable."
Amazon is always outstanding in the supply and delivery!

Rachal (Texas USA) Product arrived quickly and in perfect condition. This is the original IMC adopted by many cities across the USA. I wish Amazon would link the International Energy Code book so both could be purchased at the same time at a discount.
IMC by .. Paul D. Seward () This is a fascinating account of the use and installation of mechanical systems integrated within buildings. Although the chapters seemed to be disoriented with one and another, the level of detail is comparable to a James Michener novel. I never really understood the plot line, and the tempo was slow at best, but this is bound to be a classic, read and re-read by thousnds of building officials across the USA. Enjoy!
Great Job! by .. Randy A. Kelly () We received this book so fast we couldn't believe it, and that was with regular shipping. The book was brand new as advertised and the packaging in great shape.

Got it on time! by .. Charles M. Hogge (Chesapeake, VA) This book was half the price and in the exact same condition as a new one. I was very satisfied with all of the aspects of buying products online. I would buy from this seller again with no hesitation.
nice one, amazon by .. Roy T. Avery () Amazon is just lame sometimes. I've been asked to write a review of this book. Review the NEC? Uh, ok. I'm an electrician, so I guess I really like the NEC. There you go, Amazon.
NEC 2005 Softcover version by .. John Brown (New Jersey, USA) The Softcover version of the National Electrical Code 2005 is a must have reference for all Journeyman and Master Electricians. It is an essential tool for any students who are studying for a State License Exam.
How do you rate a code book? by .. Brian T. Kinard (Newberry, SC United States) The picture of the book I ordered looks exactly like the one that I received. Amazing! It actually has the NEC codes on the inside of the book which is exactly the reason I bought it. It is a really pretty book with lots of information.
I wish I had bought this years ago... by .. Douglas H. Haden (Ridgecrest, CA United States) I'm not an electrician so the price of the NEC delayed my buying a copy for too many years. I hunted for answers in forums and other web sources. (For advanced home improvers, Rex Cauldwell's excellent Wiring a House (For Pros by Pros) is a wonderful resource.)
I bought the spiral-bound edition 2005 National Electrical Code Spiralbound & Turbo Tab Set.
The 2005 NEC is as readable as and better than some codes. I recommend some highlighters and the 2005 NEC Tabs.
Millers Illustrated Guide to the NEC: Based on the 2005 National Electrical Code is a somewhat pricy but helpful companion. The coordinated descriptions and illustrations make the Code take on real-world meaning. There are almost no illustrations in the NEC.

Carabug17 (Glasgow, UK) I had the author of this book as my professor for first year Veterinary Anatomy and the University of Glasgow and the man is a genius. This book is a must if you are studying to become a DVM. It has diagrams of both dog and cat bones, internal and external muscles, nerve supply and even radiographs. I highly highly recommend this book and his Self Assessment book is also great for revision before exams.
The Best Vet Atlas! by .. M. Collins (California, USA) I am a pre-veterinary student. This book is great for having clear acurate images. They are much more helpful than drawings or black and white photos of other text books. Plus, they incorporate radiographs and ultrasound throughout. However, there is no text or information about anatomy as in other books, so don't expect that. This is purely for the pictures!
A must have for vet school by .. Dr. ToBe () This book was not recommended to me for vet school, but a friend of mine had it and after looking through it I bought one for myself. It has proved to be money well spent as it has helped me through a number of courses including anatomy, radiology, ultrasonography and surgery. I would highly recommend this book to anyone in vet school!
Excellent livre! by .. () Un ouvrage particulièrement bien travaillé, tant au niveau de la pertinence de l'explication qu'au niveau de la qualité de l'iconographie.
The best book ever written on veterinary anatomy by .. () This was the single best purchase I made as a freshman at CSU vet school. Everyone I know at school was hot and bothered to get this book.
