Product Description Soft-to-Touch Full of crisp color photographs, these books capture the expressions and moods of babies throughout their busy days. The soft-padded format makes them safe and easy for little hands to handle. Customer reviews kids love it by .. Samantha Cooper () I got this when my twins were about 16 months old, and it immediately became one of their favorites. The book is very sturdy.
Highly recommended as the first book for a baby by .. Emily S. Lakdawalla (Los Angeles, CA) This is the first book that my daughter (now 12 months) clearly responded to, and has remained her favorite. From 4 or 5 months she would smile and coo at the babies' pictures, and showed clear preferences -- unlike another reviewer's child, mine doesn't kiss the babies, but she does bang her head into the page if she likes the baby! This book is slightly smaller than the standard board book, with a slightly cushioned cover, so it was also the first book that my daughter could easily pick up and turn the pages of by herself. Highly recommended as baby's first book.
Babies love to look at other babies by .. Elizabeth Mankowski (Chicago IL) My daughter loves looking at the other babies in this book! Her face lights up and her little legs start kicking when I pull this book out. There is no plot, so sometimes we make up stories about the babies in the pictures. She also likes that I let her chew on the cover of this board book.
The "Baby Faces" book by Playskool is better by .. kimpo76 (Yuma, AZ) My 14 month old likes this book just fine. Definitely not her favorite book. She likes to look at babies in general, so probably any of these books would have the same effect. To me, the faces the babies are making kind of don't match up well to the word or feeling underneath. The angry baby doesn't look angry to me, the puzzled baby doesn't at all look puzzled to me. Oh, and the dirty baby isn't dirty enough. You want to see a dirty baby face? I bet most parents have a better picture than that one! The book called "Baby Faces" by Playskool is better. The pictures are cuter, bigger, and there are more examples of each emotion.
Excellent! by .. Megan Torgerson (Georgia) The book came in excellent shape. Our little girl loved this book so much that I got it for my best friend for her baby shower.

They had a great time and were also able to understand that with patience the end product would look (at least somewhat) like the picture in the book. They had a great time.

great book for the price! by .. Brook Savage (san diego, ca) I did the vampiress and japanese doll faces from this book on my daughter and friend. We made an errand to our local "clown store" and all the entertainers said how great they were. Those were just 2 of the fun face designs out of the book. The wicked reptile & colorful butterfly faces from this book are also very nice. There are over 40 faces!

Customer reviews Great book for infants/toddlers by .. Jenni () I got this book as a gift from the hospital with our first child. She absolutely loved looking at the baby faces and now I've shared it with our second child who loves it as well. They both love the changing baby faces and the fun rhyming words. I like it so much I am now buying it as a gift for other new parents.
My infant son loved this book! by .. Theresa W (mi, usa) We received this book for free through our school district. I took it home and flipped through the few pages with baby faces and didn't think too much about it. However his teacher mentioned that babies love to look at other childrens faces, so we read it. And read it, and read it! My son loved it!! He still gets a kick out of it now that he's nearing two, but I think this book is best for babies around 6-18 months. I'll still read it to him, and use it to teach him emotions though. Great, simple book.
Simple and captivating by .. Annaliese von Sieb (Midwestern U.S.A.) This book is very simple- some of the pages have only one word on them, such as "laughing," "yelling," etc. What will captivate your baby are the close-up photos of babies' faces. My daughter, now 9 months old, LOVES this book and will smile at her favorite pages. She has always liked it, but now that she is at the age where she loves playing peekaboo, this is her hands-down favorite book.
My baby's first friends! by .. Karen (SoCal) Love this simple little board book. Makes my baby laugh out loud. He loves looking at the babies faces. I think he thinks they are real. So cute. Not sure when it became a favorite, but he's 11 months now, have had it for at least 6 months, and he still smiles and laughs when we get it out. :-)
Not quite what I thought it would be by .. A. Philley (New York) The title is peek a boo, but most of the images are simply baby/toddler faces. One laughing, one crying, one yawning, etc. My daughter likes it, just like all the other baby faces board books, but it is not filled with peek a boo images. We had checked out a peek a boo book at the library that she was crazy about and I thought this was the same one, but it wasn't. This is a good book, but if you want peek a boo, look elsewhere!

Product Description Illustrated in full color. Whose face is that on the cover? That's right--it's red-hot Elmo! Toddlers will learn to link facial expressions to emotions as they take a close-up look at some of the funniest, fuzziest monster faces on Sesame Street! Look at Zoe's happy face, she has a yummy lollipop. Elmo has a sad face, he's just dropped his ice cream cone. Poor Elmo! Can you make a "sorry Elmo" face? Customer reviews Very cute. by .. Kathryn Perrin (Brooklyn, NY) This is a small board book. Perfect to fit in Christmas stockings and little toddlers' hands. It's quite silly and really fun.
Fun faces! by .. Beth A. Morris (Too Hotlanta) At first I was disappointed that this book was a small board book, but my kids liked it so much I got over that quickly. It was in my almost 2 yr old daughters stocking Christmas morning and she kept opening it and laughing, even slapping the floor! Teaches emotions and expressions too.
Great book, poor binding by .. C. Jones (Champaign, IL) This is my 16-month old son's second favorite book (the first is Ten Little Ladybugs). He loves the book, can hold it himself, and often sits and "reads" it alone, too. However, in reading alone, has grabbed the pages from the binding side and easily tore the book in half. I glued it back, and it seems to hold for now.
Easy to read by .. C. Jeffs (Auckland, New Zealand) This book is suitable for a 1-2 year old. My little boy is 3 but is a big Sesame Street fan so he still enjoyed it. It's very colourful with thick laminated pages which makes it easy to clean. I would recommend this to other parents.
Monster faces make happy faces by .. K. L. Bell (Pearland, TX USA) My one-year old daughter loves this book so much that she has completely worn it out. It is quite durable but she carries it everywhere. It is her favorite. She enjoys making 'monster voices' to go with the monster faces. She has taken to reading it to herself at times. We love this book and are buying it for a friend's newborn - along with another copy for my daughter!

Product Description The book includes 68 traits with a sketch for each trait plus a detailed explaination of the trait characteristics. Included in the book are some of the stories collected from people interviewed specifically for the book. There is a chapter on how to use face reading for relationships, sales, understanding children and career suggestions. Customer reviews Enlightening by .. K. Richards (Olympia, WA United States) This was such a fun book to read. I had the personality profile done and she read me like a book (pun intended). My husband and I had several entertaining evenings trying to profile each other as we read through the book. It has also been helpful in trying to determine why and how each of us thinks and acts. This is a wonderful tool!
Best Physiognomy book! by .. K. Codinha (San Diego, CA) I have a few books on the subject and this is extremely simple to use, and has lots of examples. I highly recommend it.
Review by .. Charles Nugent (Phoenix, AZ) Incredible! Stunningly accurate. Well written and concise. A great tool to further understand people. Must read!!
Excellent by .. Steven N. Laux (Stayton, Oregon USA) Most excellent material. Although people are generally unpredictable, a person can, in a good many cases, really know how someone else is feeling and know what they are thinking by external signs. This book gives a surprising amount of information.
Don't Judge a Book by it's Cover by .. J. Weber (New York) The reason that I titled this review "Don't judge a Book by it's Cover", is that we tend to make judgements to quickly before we really find out more about the subject in front of us.
Naomi Tickles' book, "You can Read A Face Like A Book", does just that, to help us better understand who we really are.
How many times have you seen someone standing in line looking very impatient? Or seen someone striking up a conversation with anyone who is standing next to them? Or even found yourself wondering why you struggle with certain skills in your life while others come so easily?
Well, after not only taking a Face Reading Course with Naomi Tickle and reading her books, was I finally able to answer those questions!
I myself have a forehead that is straight up and down (vertical) so therefore am a Sequetial Thinker. This is why I always had a hard time learning something if there were any steps overlooked. (it was sort of like a blank puzzle to me ). So by explaining this to my employer when learing a new position, I found myself catching on very quickly instead of struggling and feeling inadaquet.
Also, as for the trait of having the fuller upper lip , I am at fault for that as you can see by this review because I love to talk, and yes pretty much to anyone!!
I am quite critical about a lot of things (Critical Perception), but I could not find anything negative about a person wanting to learn more about how they "Tick" and how to better understand others. I do understand myself better after Naomi's Face Reading Course and reading the wonderful book "You Can Read a Face Like a Book". I feel that using these key traits in daily life helps to lighten our load on our emotional selves, and even find some humor in our areas that we need to improve on !!!
I am always telling my Husband and Friends that if I am talking to much just step in and stop me, so on that note........

Product Description "What if Santa's lips get chapped?" Stinky Face asks. "What if the sack of toys starts to rip?" As always, Mama lovingly addresses each and every one of her child's concerns. Of course, Stinky Face leaves Santa lip balm and duct tape . . . just in case. "Cheerful, lighthearted images compound the humor readers will derive from Stinky Face's anxieties." --Horn Book Guide Customer reviews Great Story but wish it wasn't a board book by .. Frances M. Calvo (Dededo, Guam) This is a great series that's a wonderful bedtime read for you to share with your child. I have a couple of the other "Stinky Face" stories and my kids love them. My only concern is that I didn't realize this was the board book version. I was expecting the typical hard bound copy which would have been more of a keepsake. Nevertheless, it's a great bedtime story.

Product Description Toddlers love bold, graphic pictures almost as much as they love a book they can play with. Flip-a-Face books invite young readers to interact with the faces by flipping the pages. Presto-change-o—a brand-new face appears! Hours of interactive play are in store! An innovative and durable board-book format in which every other page is diecut. Babies and parents will delight in flipping from one face to another! Turn a dog into a cat, a panda into a pig, just by flipping the pages. Babies learn very early to identify different animals, and changing a lion's face to a lamb's is just the kind of learning toddlers love and want. Customer reviews Simple but cute by .. J. Winkler (Minneapolis, MN) This book is a little more simple than I thought it would be. My 10 month old daughter does like it because she loves to turn the pages of books and she likes to point at eyes. I can only give this 4 stars because after 3 weeks I'm getting tiered of it.
Another SAMi winner by .. E. Elliott (Alexandria, Va USA) My one year old granddaughter loves this book. Faces are always appealing to babies and the clever way these faces morph from one thing to another with the flip of a page really intrigues her. Plus she can turn the pages herself. It helps that grandmother makes the appropriate animal sound as each page is turned. We just can't figure out what sound a raccoon makes...
A must read for VERY young readers by .. D. Parenti (Philadelphia) SAMi's book is very clever and engaging. It is equally enjoyable forwards and backwards, which is helpful for the 4-18 month reader. Kid's will love the diecuts, they lend an interactive quality to the book almost like playing peek-a-boo. SAMi's illustrations are gorgeous, simple but sophisticated.

Product Description "But Mama, but Mama, what if I were a super smelly skunk, and I smelled so bad that my name was Stinky Face?"Mothers love their children and this unconditional love is truly tested in I LOVE YOU, STINKY FACE. Lisa McCourt and Cyd Moore beautifully weave a reassuring tale of the love and affection of a parent. The imaginative son turns himself into a meat-eating dinosaur, a swamp creature and much, much more before being satisfied with the fact that no matter how stinky he is or how slimy of a creature he could possibly be, he is loved and nothing will change that.
Customer reviews Not necessarily a boy by .. M. Dimon (San Francisco, California United States) I love this book! The message is wonderful and the pictures are great. Despite what the other reviewers (and even the back of the book) say, there is nothing in the text or pictures that says the child is a boy. I love reading this to my daughter. (Note: Apparently the board book is an abridged version, so maybe the full version is more specific).
We love this book! by .. 3girliesandalilguy (utah) I bought this for my 3 year old son after reading it in our pediatrician's waiting room. My son thinks it's hilarious and it's one of his favorites. It helps show him that moms love their kids no matter what, while keeping his interest with its silliness.
I Love YOU Stinky Face! by .. Cheryl Mintun (San Jose, CA) I just love reading this book to my grand child. It is a great introduction to unconditional love. This book should be on every bookshelf! All of us have times when we wonder if we are loved. It would do us well to remind children, starting at a very young age, just how special they are to us. I Love You Stinky Face
I love you stinky face by .. Joanna Wasilewski () I love this book!! It is a must have!! This book is great for all ages and it has a great message! There are little puppets that can be purchased to go along with this book; they are really cute and get students really engaged.
We love Stinky Face by .. Robin C. Sharp (Ringgold, Ga USA) The best childrens book ever! I almost cry everytime I read it to my daughter. She loves the illistrations and the story will melt anyones heart.
