Product Description At last! A film book that is really useful! And fun! These enthusiasts' lists, arranged by genre, director or actor, answer that most difficult of questions: what DVD should you rent for the night? Fancy a screwball comedy? We review all the classics. Not seen all the Herzog movies? Here's the lowdown on the best. Desperate to see that Scarlett Johansson again? No problem. All movie life is here...Action, African greats, alcohol, Robert Aldrich, aliens, Woody Allen, Pedro Almodovar, Robert Altman, animated, anime, apocalypses, Argentina, art, Asia minor, avant garde...And that's just A for you. A taste of this fabulously quirky and enjoyable book which is both a celebration of movies - and movie trivia - and a handy, entertaining guide to films that we know you will enjoy. It is fantastically functional. The lists are well conceived and easy to understand - mostly assembled by genre, actor, director, theme or country of origin - and the reviews are witty and informative. Oddly enough, most movie guides are not full of recommendations. But "Movie Lists" is, in spades, leaving readers in no doubt that the films reviewed are the business.Oh - and you don't have to watch them all before you die. There is no premise of death in this book. You just need to get down to the local Blockbusters or flick your remote to Movies on Demand. Only the popcorn is not supplied. Nir Kuner () Well, yes, amazing amout of information (of course not all included but most of it is there). But how can I put in words the disappointment I had when I opened this book for the very first time... BLACK AND WHITE? Are we in the 50's? How can you enjoy the notes? How can you get the right impresion? Sorry, but no use...
duplication by .. B. R. Hincke (North Bend, OR USA) These catalogs are great but they overlap with some of the notes from year to year. I have to mark out some note information in one catalog so that when I inventory my notes, I am not making double entries. I think it would be much better if the catalogs were divided by COUNTRY instead of DATE catagories. This way there would not be any double entries or overlaps.
I find quite a bit of errors on pricing and some wrong images but this is small.
I really enjoy having these catalogs that keep me up on several types of information on World Wide Banknotes.
Overall, thank for these catalogs.

- Christopher Smith with Steve Eubanks
Product Description A round of golf takes five hours to play, but only about three minutes are spent hitting the ball. The average golfer spends the other two hundred ninety-seven minutes thinking, rethinking, and overthinking, contemplating every aspect of his swing until the moment he finally hits the ball. Golf’s reputation as a thinking-man’s sport may have turned players into on-the-course philosophers, but all that navel-gazing hasn’t lowered anyone’s score. It may seem counterintuitive, but when you turn off your brain and play faster, you shoot lower scores. As one of the top-ranked speed golfers in the world, Christopher Smith knows this firsthand. He shot in the mid- 60s for eighteen holes on multiple occasions, playing for about forty-five minutes while using only six clubs. As a Northwest Section and Oregon Chapter PGA Teacher of the Year, he also knows how hard it is for players schooled in the tradition of the game’s great thinkers to get out of their heads. In I’ve Got 99 Swing Thoughts but “Hit the Ball” Ain’t One, Smith shows you how to make quick decisions, go with your gut, and get on with the game. Greats like Jack Nicklaus, known for out-thinking his opponents, and Tiger Woods with his unbreakable concentration, know when to rely on their critical faculties and when to let the mind/body system take over. Every thought and movement they need to play well is embedded in their brains and muscles before the game begins. When you ride a bike or park your car in a tight spot, you’re using the same kind of “unconscious competency” these masters bring to their games. In this book, Smith helps you transfer that ease of movement to the golf course. Via a series of games that covers every part of the swing—from the grip and setup to getting out of sand traps—you’ll internalize the golf swing, leaving you free to get to the ball, see the shot in your mind, and execute it. A top instructor and coach, Smith advocates finding your own unique fundamentals of the swing—plus the drills you need to turn them into second nature. The game-changing techniques in I’ve Got 99 Swing Thoughts but “Hit the Ball” Ain’t One will turn you into a free-wheeling, react-to-the- intended-target golfer who feels the game, plays faster and better, and, your mind free of paralyzing swing thoughts, gets on with the business of hitting the ball. Customer reviews A Treasure Chest by .. Benjamin Chan (Albuquerque, NM) I have been playing golf for 13 years. I probably read all the books out there. This is a treasure chest of great ideas. If you do not have this yet, go get one. It is worth every penny of it.
Swing and not think! by .. K. Patterson (Canton, MI USA) This author maybe right, trying to do the act whilst thinking is never a good combination. Perhaps a maximum of one swing thought and thats it.
The sub-concious mind is powerful and it knows best.
A funny but informative read.
