Again, another wonderful Spanish picture dictionary with bright colors, well thought-out layout, and words that are almost big enough for a small-ish child to sound out...But the non-native speaker has no clue as to whether he's pronouncing it correctly. I haven't used this one in my Spanish classes, because it's not as thorough as others out there, and the words aren't quite big enough, but my own children have enjoyed it.
All in all, a good supplement, but I wouldn't use it as a primary introduction to Spanish. Try Flip Flop Spanish instead, which comes with a CD.

We bought this book for our two year old. The pictures are so familiar to him and his delight is appealing as he calls out each word that he knows. As school teachers, we feel this book would be exellent for helping young children to build a basic sight word vocabulary. Children will be excited about the activities and objects that they encounter. We highly recommend this book for toddlers.
