Customer reviews advanced editing and collecting of images by .. W Boudville (Terra, Sol 3) If you already use Photoshop and want to move onto the more advanced aspects of static image editing, then Elements should be used, and this book is [presumably] an official guide to it.
Some sections describe how to import images. Typically from a digital camera or by capturing a subset of frames from digital videos. For the latter, a wide range of common formats is supported, including AVI, MPG, MPEG, WMV, ASF and MLV. Essentially, these are imported easily, so that you don't have to worry about the details of each encoding.
One think you might notice about Elements is that it is more than just editing a given image. Substantial space is devoted to showing how you can make a collection of photos. So that it's not just a grab bag of images. Elements lets you group these into subsets, and view these against backgrounds and in various styles. A very flexible photo album. This framework is impressive and lets you be creative at a level above single imges.

Customer reviews Best Book Yet by .. S. Ryan (Norfolk,VA) All I can say is Rowling over excelled her writing, and coming from her, thats saying quite a lot! This book has everything to sum up this legendary series, including tragic deaths and impossible plot twists that only Rowling can possibly come up with. What can I say? There aren't even close to enough stars to give!
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by .. Andrew Barbee (Phoenix, AZ, USA) Excellent ending to a very interesting series of books. I enjoyed listening to the entire selection.
A must for any Potter fan by .. Brandon J. Palmer () Best book of the series. Read the entire thing in 2 days after it arrived. Have read it 5 times since.
Best in the series by far by .. mao_soup () I am not a foaming-mouthed Potter fan, though I like the series. I only just read it last year. I started in Dec '06 and finished when the new book came out. In fact, I read books 4,5,6 and 7 in like one month (For a slow reader like me this took a miracle. Either that or a few slow days at work....heh heh, ah it's the American way....)
Book seven is fantastic. It is far and away the best book in the series. Rowling seals the deal with the most intricate plot, the biggest battles, and the most spectacular surprises. If you haven't read this book by now you probably never will. Either that or you live on Saturn and your Amazon shipment is only now arriving...

Product Description When the king's son found gems in his horse's mane, he wondered, and still held his peace. But that night he withdrew early from the feast and hid himself in the shadows of the stable. Presently in came Cordita, her beauty shining through her rags...These magical tales take us through the highlights of the year, through festivals and birthdays. Customer reviews My mother read it to me when I was 7... by .. Carly S. (San Francisco, CA, USA) Of all of the books read to me when I was little, few stand out more prominently in my memory than this one. Now, over twenty years later, I am so pleased to have just found my old copy, which I hope someday to read to my children. What a magical book!
Brilliant by .. Michael Joseph (Keaau, Hawaii USA) One of the best children's books I have run across. The book explains the consequences and dangers of the shadow world and the rewarding richness of standing in the light. It is presented in a non religious, simple and magical way. Opening the doors of understanding for children and reminding adults at the same time.
A magical book by .. Jessica D. Nunes (USA) My 6-year old's teacher reminded me about this book at our conferences. It is a magical journey for children to share. Sylvia lives in a cottage near the woods with her mother. She is very connected to the world of gnomes and fairies, and spends her days doing things I wish I could do with my girl - she bakes, paints, visits with the Old Woodsman who smells like the trees and love...She has a "Sister-in-the-Bushes" to talk to. She has friends in the village who come to her St. Nicholas party. It's an amazing life. Each night her mother tells her a story, usually connected to the events of her day. Then, Sylvia puts her "Wonder Book" out on her bedside table. During the night, the Rhyme-Elves come to paint a picture and write her a short poem connected to her day. The book is full of seasonal celebrations from Michelmas to Advent to St. Nicholas to King's Day. Sylvia loses her first tooth (which means that NOW she can go to school). I highly recommend this book to everyone looking to find something magical to read at bedtime. My daughter is spellbound. One minor fault, easily changed when reading - the dark gnomes, ones who are evil and scary (leading her into the woods when her mother told her not to go in alone, but helping her experience why she needs to mind her mother) are all referred to as 'black imps'. I changed that to 'dark imps'. PS - my daughter has had an easier time not being led by her inner 'dark imp' since we've been reading this together. But, I fight the guilts over not providing her with a Wonder Book of her own!
Quick delivery and book in great condition. by .. Elena M. Guzman (Boulder, CO USA) I was pleased to receive the book as quickly as I did. I was nervous that I would get it too late for my son's 7th birthday but no, I had a few days to spare. Thanks.
To be seven again by .. Andrea M. Savar (Seattle,Wa.) I was given this book when I was seven and have since cherished it for its beauty and sensitivity. It is a wonderful read aloud book for ages 6-8 and mostly 7 that is inspiring both for children and adults alike. Enjoy!

Meanwhile, the rest of the group follows the road to the village. After a little while the main group finds out that bandits have taken the group of soldiers. The main group changes course not knowing whether Will and Tug are alive! To find out what happens after that, get the book and read it.
My 10 year old's review by .. K. O'Neill (Silicon Valley, CA USA) In Ranger's Apprentice 7, Erak is making a last raid when he is caught and is held for ransom. Will, Halt, Horace, Cassandra, and Gilan must find him and rescue him. There is a fair amount action in this book. This book is only available in the Australian version. Chronologically, this book comes before the 5th and 6th but after the 1-4. He does a good job of putting pressure on characters. I thought it was a good book and that it was worth buying online from an Australian bookseller.

Product Description Creating "true narrative magic" ( The Washington Post) at every revelatory turn, Stephen King surpasses all expectation in the stunning final volume of his seven-part epic masterwork. Entwining stories and worlds from a vast and complex canvas, here is the conclusion readers have long awaited -- breath-takingly imaginative, boldly visionary, and wholly entertaining. Roland Deschain and his ka-tet have journeyed together and apart, scattered far and wide across multilayered worlds of wheres and whens. The destinies of Roland, Susannah, Jake, Father Callahan, Oy, and Eddie are bound in the Dark Tower itself, which now pulls them ever closer to their own endings and beginnings . . . and into a maelstrom of emotion, violence, and discovery. Customer reviews perfect by .. Tosha L. Reisdorff (lemmore, ca usa) I LOVED each and every one of the books in this series. I am a firm believer that they are King's best work. I just want to say that I think that the ending to the Dark Tower series was perfect. Have King's stories ever ended happily? I can't recall at the moment one that did. I think we all enjoy his books because King weaves some of the sickest most disterbing stories around. He loves to toy with his readers' emotions. How can anyone expect this story to end any differently? If you were reading this book and expected everything to be spelled out and end well you were only kidding yourself and have no reason to be upset.

A Dark Towering Masterpiece from "The Dark Master" by .. K. A. Stone (Melbourne, Florida United States) I'll admit I am the Constant Reader that Stephen always references..I have been a loyal fan for more years than I care to admit. Starting with Salems Lot and ending with Duma Key. I never picked this series up. I didn't want to be strung along by a serial novel.
When the final book came out I picked up the first one. I thought I would read one a month. I was wrong...I couldn't read fast enough. I finished all seven in under 2 months. I was hooked..I laughed, I cried and I shivered in the dark. This book had the penultimate ending.
I have not re-read any books since the Tolkien series and The Stand. I am starting them all again from the beginning.
Stephen King has rocked my literary world (again). He finally accomplished what he started at "19". Take the journey to the Dark Tower; you won't regret it.
Scary letdown... by .. Mr.Fab (Philadelphia, PA USA) The true horror was seeing such an amazing series get axe murdered in the last 2 books. My suspicion is SK was plugged into a vision so extraordinary that the Crimson King had to run him over with a van in 1999 to prevent the true story from being written. Too bad for us...
Excellent by .. S. Tosyali (Limburg, Belgium) The book was in amazing shape: It was hard, huge, filled with fullpage drawings, and heavy. Holding that in your hand is almost the same as holding a gun. Powerfull feeling. As for the book itself, anyone who's read DT so far knows the last story is just another amazing book in the saga, so this is a Win-win book for me. Very Satisfied.
It is What it is by .. BOHICA () I spent last winter reading the DT series from page 1 to the end of VII.
Everyone speaks with great prose about the series...both positive and critical.
However, I don't read a book to analyze, critique, or attempt to peer into the authors mind. I read to be entertained.
Was the series entertaining? You bet! I saw stuff momma never told me about.

Customer reviews Late review by .. Emily J. Taylor (Utah) I realize it has been some time since "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" was released, but I did read this book beforehand and just came across it whilst cleaning my room.
Though predictions came true and predictions proved worthless (I won't reveal any in case of those still going for #7), it's still a fascinating, fun, and clever delving into theory with plenty of research that just screams HP geek.
Even with everything revealed, this is still a great book reminiscent of those glory days of theorizing.
Excellent by .. A. Brookshire (Georgia, USA) Mugglenet has struck gold with it's speculations on the outcome of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It holds true to the forms, ideas, and information garnered in the preceding books. Well done Mugglenet!
MUGGLENET. COM'S WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN HARRY POTTER 7 by .. Rita A. Jones () I HAVE FOUND THIS BOOK TO BE VERY INTERESTING. ALTHOUGH THE BOOK HAS SINCE COME OUT, I STILL ENJOYED READING THE MATERIAL.
The right and wrong answers by .. E. Nieto () Though admittedly few people see much point in reading this book now that the final istalment of Harry Potter has already been read and is now safely tucked in our book-shelves, I beg to differ. I read Deathly Hallows before reading this book, and so knew all the answers to (most) questions, what drove me to buy the book was my uncontrollable curiosity. Being a fan of the website, I thought I'd help them out by buying the book, but what intrested me the most was the arguments. I don't care whether they guessed right or wrong, but how they came to those conclusions! 9/10 times the right answer doesn't matter, as long as you can back it up with sound reason and judgment, which is why I liked this book, and would still recommend it.
No point in buying it now by .. Tigerpaws (Silver Spring, MD USA) Not only were the predictions incorrect, Now that book 7 is out who would want to read this?
