This is an awesome expansion pack interactions are more creative and a ton more building options. Also one should know do not build Apartments on the beach lots. IT WILL CRAsH THE WHOLE GAME!!! You will have to un-intstall and re-install each and every game plus expansions!!

I didn't like the pets package in Sims 1, but I guess I just couldn't resist trying this out...you never know, right? I just find pets annoying. They destroy your furniture in no time flat, they take a lot of work to train (similarly to kids, which I tend to "grow up" early just to get rid of the headaches), and then there's the skunk and other people's pets creating havoc on your property. I guess if you like a challenge or you just really love animals, more power to you. It just doesn't float my boat.

While there is a huge number of game players, there are few good books to help you play. This is better than the original edition. It includes many of the changes made by the game creators since the earlier release.
Pros - This is the best book published for starting players of Everquest II. (Unfortunately, perhaps because of copyright laws, it is pretty much the only definitive book on Everquest II.)
Cons - mentioned by other reviewers. In an attempt to be artistic, the authors of the book created colorful maps. Unfortunately, the map colors make it more difficult to find anything on them because of the low contrast between the type and the graphics. (This is even worst in the Prima Official Atlas.) Don't these people know many players play by the light of their monitors?

While the book was a very good read, it was useless to me as the web site never stated what platform the guide was for. I brought it for my DS game, and the guide only covered the PS2 and Wii versions. There is a VERY small spot actually on the picture of the guide itself (you have to enlarge the photo to see it clearly. The web page needs to clearly state what system the book is for. While it read very well, and IF I HAD the game, I'm sure it would be a great help, I gave the book to a friend. It was useless to me.

The Far Cry 2 strategy guide from Prima is excellent. It covers all platforms (PC, PS3, and 360). The level descriptions are very helpful in that they not only give suggestions on how to proceed, but they often give hints at the political climate within each mission. This serves to heighten the intrigue and tension of the game. The photos are clear and large. There is a lot of text to read through, so you don't come away scratching your head thinking "that's nice, but now what?" There are nice bios on all the characters. The weapons are all fully explained. The multiplayer options are gone over extensively. You can't lose with this guide.

I've avoided purchasing Prima's other strategy guides for the Sims expansions because Prima has a habit of devoting half of their guides to the base game and the rest to the expansion pack. In the guide for Nightlife however they've improved. More than half of the guide is devoted to Nightlife: new socials, new characters, new relationships, new objects..etc. There's still information on the base game which could have been left out however overall I do recommend the guide. I don't have to skip over the first half of the book to find information on the expansion pack with this guide. Well done Prima thank you!

For anyone trying to locate an out of print guide for any of their Sims 2 expansion games, this will probably be a good purchase. Since out of print guides can run up to $80.00 I consider these books to be the better value since the information is the same. A word of caution, however. Since the books are smaller, black and white versions of the originals the pictures are rather difficult to see. Also, unless you have microscopic vision, a magnifying glass is helpful.
